Weekend Travel Advisory
Hello from ADOT. We have a challenging closure on the schedule so gather round and think about using an alternate route for a couple of weeks. Click the Weekend Travel Advisory Map for more information about these and other weekend (and beyond) closure or restrictions along Phoenix-area freeways (Aug. 15-18):
  • The eastbound Loop 101 ramps to north- and southbound I-17 in north Phoenix are scheduled to be closed from 12:30 a.m. Friday (Aug. 15) to 5 a.m. Friday (Aug. 29) while crews replace a stretch of older, worn concrete in an area approaching those ramps. We know that won't be easy but we're working to get these much-needed repairs done before Labor Day Weekend. Click the map for some suggestions about detours. And consider routes a little farther away to avoid what will be heavier rush-hour traffic along eastbound Loop 101 in the Northwest Valley.
  • I-17 will be closed in either direction at times this weekend along the stretch between the I-10 "Stack" interchange and the I-10 "Split" interchange (that's the one near Sky Harbor Airport) for pavement maintenance.
