ADOT's Weekend Freeway Travel Advisory (Phoenix Area)
October 25-28, 2024

Hello from ADOT. Yes, this IS a busy weekend for freeway closures or restrictions in the Phoenix area. We appreciate your patience as crews focus on getting work done before the annual holiday season limited restrictions period. Please check the list carefully (Click the Weekend Travel Advisory Map) to see where you might use alternate routes to avoid these and other restrictions for improvement projects (Oct. 25-28):

Eastbound I-10 closed between the SR 51 "Mini-Stack" interchange and US 60 (Superstition Freeway) from 10 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Monday (Oct. 28) for work on the I-10 Broadway Curve Improvement Project.
Westbound Loop 101 (Agua Fria Freeway) closed between 19th and 51st avenues from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday (Oct. 28) for widening project. Click the Weekend Travel Advisory Map for more information.
Southbound Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) closed between Pima Road/Princess Drive and Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday (Oct. 28) for widening project.
Meanwhile, southbound State Route 51 will be closed between Loop 101 in north Phoenix and I-10/Loop 202 near downtown from 9 p.m. Friday to 9 p.m. Saturday (Oct. 26). Crews will reopen southbound SR 51 in segments as their pavement sealing work progresses on Saturday. Click the Weekend Travel Advisory Map for more information.
