ADOT's Weekend Freeway Travel Advisory (Phoenix Area)
May 29 - June 1, 2026

Weekend Travel Advisory
Drivers should be aware of the following restrictions, which include two late cancellations:
  • Southbound State Route 51 closed between Indian School Road and Interstate 10 from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday (June 1).
  • Northbound Loop 101 (Agua Fria Freeway) closed between Interstate 10 and Indian School Road from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday (June 1).
  • Southbound Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) narrowed to two lanes between Princess Drive and Shea Boulevard from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday (June 1). Note: Northbound lane restrictions scheduled for this stretch have been canceled.
  • Eastbound Loop 303 closed overnight between 43rd Avenue and Interstate 17 from 9 p.m. Friday to 8 a.m. Saturday (May 30). Note: An overnight closure scheduled from Saturday night to Sunday morning has been canceled. 
  • State Route 347 intersection at Riggs Road closed intermittently for up to 15 minutes at a time from 4 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday (May 31).
