About Us

Florence Copper is an in-situ copper recovery (ISCR) project located midway between Phoenix and Tucson in the community of Florence, Arizona. Florence Copper will produce LME Grade A copper metal on site, while setting a new standard for conservation and environmental protection in copper mining – including the lowest energy and water use per unit of production in North America. Florence Copper will be a significant employer in the region and the state, supporting nearly 820 Arizona jobs and producing copper – a vital material to facilitate the world’s transition to a low-carbon future.
