What is CAVIT? The Central Arizona Valley Institute of Technology (CAVIT) is a public school district working in partnership with thirteen area high schools: ALA, Casa Grande Union High School, Coolidge Alternative Program, Coolidge High School, Desert Sunrise High School, Florence High School, Home School, Imagine Prep School, Maricopa High School, Mission Heights Preparatory High School, Online Schools, Poston Butte High School, PPEP Tec High School, San Tan Foothills High School, Santa Cruz Valley Union High School, Sequoia Pathway Academy School, Villa Oasis High School, and Vista Grande High School. Students in the area high schools can begin preparing for high-wage, high-demand occupations while in high school. Any junior or senior who has met prerequisites, including graduates up to the age of 21, may enroll.
