Position Overview:
            We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will understand the complexities of real estate transactions, including sales, leases, easements, deeds, land use, planning, zoning, and interactions with county recorders, treasurers, and assessor offices. In addition, this position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate closely with our attorneys and clients on various real estate matters, such as development agreements, trustee sales and foreclosures, real estate litigation, and homeowner association issues.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in preparing zoning applications and related documentation.
  • Conduct research and gather information for real estate transactions and disputes.
  • Draft, review, and manage agreements, leases, other real estate contracts, and development agreements.
  • Support the preparation of legal documents for foreclosure actions and trustee's sales.
  • Assist in resolving landlord/tenant disputes and enforcing lease agreements.
  • Manage client communications and maintain organized case files.
  • Collaborate with attorneys in real estate litigation matters, including boundary issues, property management, and quiet title actions.
  • Provide support in the drafting and enforcement of CC&Rs for homeowners associations.
  • Assist other office staff and departments as needed to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal in real estate law.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate transactions, sales, leases, easements, deeds, land use, planning, and zoning.
  • Excellent research, writing, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in legal research software and Document Management.
