PINAL COUNTY, Ariz. – Central Arizona College’s Student Engagement and Police Department will host Symbols of Strength: Breast Cancer & Domestic Violence Awareness on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Signal Peak Campus in Coolidge. This free community event brings together education, resources, and inspiration in recognition of both Breast Cancer and Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
The event will feature Marissa Cohen, an award-winning empowerment and wellness speaker. Recognized as the 2024 National Campus Speaker of the Year, Cohen is dedicated to promoting healthy relationships, educating on relationship red flags, and inspiring positive change.
As part of the event, the CAC Police Department will present proceeds from its Pink Patch & T-Shirt Fundraiser to Impact One: Breast Cancer Foundation, supporting their mission to provide assistance and resources to women facing breast cancer.
Attendees will also enjoy:
• Community Resource Fair: Local organizations offering information on violence prevention, health, housing, and wellness.
