AZ Speaks, The Jews of Sosua: An Inspirational Story of the Holocaust Survival
In the early 1940s, the Dominican Republic was the only country to accept a significant number of Jewish refugees. It provided a safe haven for about 750 German and Austrian Jews in Sosua. Travel Journalist Dan Fellner visited the area. He explored the remnants of Jewish life in this unique “Tropical Zion.”
