DESCRIPTION:Central Arizona College to Hold "Walk the Land" Celebration on November 18\, 2024\n\n \n\nBy Angela Askey\, Executive Director Public Relations and Marketing\n\nPINAL COUNTY\, Ariz.   In honor of Native American Heritage Month\, Central Arizona College will host a "Walk the Land" celebration on Mon.\, November 18\, 2024\, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Signal Peak Campus (8470 N Overfield Rd.\, Coolidge\, AZ 85128.) The program will begin at the I building outdoor plaza.\n\nThe "Walk the Land" celebration will acknowledge the Indigenous community's important contributions while celebrating and honoring their diverse cultures\, traditions and histories. Following a welcome and reading of the Land Acknowledgement\, there will be a celebration and blessing\, keynote speech focused on revitalizing Indigenous language\, and the "Walk the Land" self-guided cultural tour.
